The hunger situation in Gaza is urgent, with no aid entering since Israel imposed a full blockade on March 2. Gaith Gaza wants to help a community in northern Gaza by preparing and distributing food parcels to the poorest and most hunger-stricken families in Gaza. In their words:

“We are 6 people on the team. There are some types of food still available in the markets, but most people do not have even one dollar to buy this food. We decided to make a great effort to prepare 10,000 food parcels that will be distributed to people who are living in famine and sleeping without food.

We will also make envelopes containing an amount of money and distribute them to poor families. We will also make food baskets and distribute them as well. This will make the children happy and may make them forget some of the pain. We will also make entertaining games and moments for the children to make them happy and draw a smile on their innocent faces.

We hope you will stand by us and our innocent children. We need your support to survive. Life Team / Gaith Gaza ”

The group consists of young people that have themselves been displaced several times, but haven’t lost hope and need outside support to build up their families and communities. You who are reading these words… We extend our hands only because hunger has sunk its fangs into the bellies of our children.

We raise our voices only because silence has become deadly.

We ask for help only because life is being pulled out of our hands by strings of pain!

In Gaza.

A child does not ask for a toy.

He asks: “Mom, will we have dinner today?”

In a mother’s eyes, there is no promise, only a deferred tear…

In the father’s heart, he is ashamed of a question to which he has no answer.

Your dollar can be

the bread that makes a day go by.

or the milk that stops a baby from crying.

or the dinner that brings a heart back to life.

Think of it this way:

You may sleep tonight and be full…

But in Gaza, there are those who put their head on a stone pillow… hungry and praying for God to send rain.

Will you be that rain?

We hope to be Gaza’s Ghaith (rain),

like the UAE’s Ghaith that brought happiness to the hearts of the whole world.

صرخة من تحت الركام”

نبدأ سعادة جديدة

يا من تقرأ هذه الكلمات…

نحن لا نمدّ أيدينا إلا لأن الجوع مدّ أنيابه في بطون أطفالنا،

ولا نرفع أصواتنا إلا لأنّ الصمت بات قاتلًا،

ولا نطلب عونًا إلا لأنّ الحياة تُسحب من بين أيدينا بخيوطٍ من وجع!

في غزة،

الطفل لا يسأل عن لعبة،

بل يسأل: “أمّي، هل سنتعشّى اليوم؟”

وفي عيون الأم، لا يوجد وعد، بل دمعة مؤجَّلة…

وفي قلب الأب، خجل من سؤال لا يملك له إجابة.

غيث غزة… حملة لا تجمع المال، بل تجمع الرحمة

إلى أمهاتٍ ينمن وهنّ يتظاهرن بالشبع،

وإلى أطفالٍ تعلّموا أن يبتسموا وهم يَبلعون

لا تقل: “ما الذي سيصنعه دولار؟”

فدولارك قد يكون

الخبز الذي يُكمل يومًا،

أو الحليب الذي يوقف بكاء طفل،

أو العشاء الذي يعيد قلبًا للحياة.

فكّر بها هكذا:

قد تنام الليلة وشبعان…

لكن في غزة، هناك من يضع رأسه على وسادة الحجر… وهو جائع، ويدعو الله أن يرسل له غيثًا.

هل تكون أنت ذلك الغيث؟

نتمنى أن نكون غيث غزة
